Lactalis South Africa appoints new General Manager

Stellenbosch, WESTERN CAPE: Tuesday, 25 July 2023 Dairy producer Lactalis South Africa (SA) has announced the appointment of Herman Janse van Rensburg as its new General Manager with effect from 18 July 2023. Janse van Rensburg succeeds Alban Damour who has taken up his new assignment as General Manager for Lactalis India after two years of being at the helm.

Janse van Rensburg joined Lactalis SA 12 years ago as a financial manager and has worked in various executive positions across management control, commercial, and marketing. Prior to this new appointment, Janse van Rensburg was Chief Operating Officer for Lactalis SA.

Commenting on his appointment, Janse van Rensburg said, “This year marks 90 years of Group Lactalis being in business, and I am excited to be part of this milestone and lead Lactalis SA into its next phase of growth. Together with the Lactalis SA team, I will continue to build on the strong foundation that Alban Damour built during his tenure and maintain our position as the number one dairy company in South Africa.”
